Ⅰ. Contents

1. The competition consists of design and development in the following two fields: Application Software and Game Software.

2. Each field contains two sections: “professional knowledge test” (30%) and “professional skill test” (70%).

Ⅲ. Format and Procedures

1. This competition consists of two phases: preliminary and final.

2. The preliminary competition will be held online over a period of 52 days. The test paper, which consists of 200 questions in the form of single-choice, multiple-choice, and true/false questions, is to be completed online by each competitor within two hours.

3. The final competition will be held on-site from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM, totaling 480 minutes. (During the competition, the competitor may choose when to take a break at his/her own discretion.) The competitor is required to choose one out of the given software design tasks and complete its design, development, and delivery within the time limit.

Ⅳ. Participation Procedure

1. Preliminary: Visit the official website of the competition (www.cdsoft2008.com) to register and fill in your personal information such as name and ID Number correctly, then Click the links to enter the examination page and answer the questions as required. The competitor can take the test for a maximum of three times, and the last result is the one that counts.

2. Final: Based on the results of the preliminary competition, the finalists will be selected and contacted by the committee. The finalists shall arrive at the competition site to register one day before the date of final competition as announced by the committee.
